Your cyclical nature and Yoga – A practical workshop exploring how Yoga can support you throughout your menstrual cycle
Join Aline and Anne Cecile from Oyo Lab (http://www.oyo-lab.com) – two Royston mums, friends and women’s health advocates — for a one-of-a-kind afternoon designed to help you hit pause and reconnect with your body’s inner intelligence.
The Mission:
We believe that by listening to our bodies, we can stop just surviving the month and start thriving. We’re combining Yoga and Practical Menstrual Education to give you a “menu” of tools for navigating life in cycles.
Why learn about the menstrual cycle?
The menstrual cycle is an integral part of our bodies, directly influencing our daily lives. By developing inner awareness, you can tune in to your needs and become better equipped to support yourself through the up and down waves.
How can Yoga help?
By increasing awareness of our menstrual cycles, we develop knowledge about ourselves, and become more attuned to our bodies’ needs. Yoga offers great tools that can be applied throughout the different phases of your cycle. We can lean unto the power of the breath, movement and stillness practices available to us in each given moment. It offers us a varied ‘menu’ of techniques that we can bring to our daily lives for support and enabling us to enjoy life more fully.

-Bite-Size Learning: A science-backed (but fun!) look at your hormones.
-Accessible Yoga: Movement and breathwork designed for all abilities.
-Connection: A relaxed women’s circle to share stories and experiences.
– Creative Tools: Journaling, practical activities and take-home handouts.
– Nourishment: Tea, light snacks and a very warm welcome.
