Sunday Stillness – Harness the sound within

Join me for an unmissable Sunday Stillness! Allow yourself to wind down, fill up on inner peace, clarity and ease as we align with the energy of the Summer time, through mindful movement, sound and a guided relaxation/ meditation.
During these special two hours together, we will begin with some movement and breath work to arrive and become more present in our bodies. We will then practice some mantra meditation with sound, a powerful practice to attune to the heart space and to steady the busy mind. Chanting can be a very beneficial practice, not only for our breath and also energetically. Not to mention the great power available when we unite our voices and hearts together with these sacred syllables!
I will be sharing a couple of ancient Vedic mantras for balance, accompanied by the enchanting sound of the harmonium.
Our evening together will finish with a soothing Yoga Nidra. The practise will end with a wonderful healing Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep as it is commonly known, is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain. Practised in savasana (corpse pose), this systematic meditation takes you through the Pancha Maya kosha (five layers of self), leaving you with a sense of wholeness.
You’ll leave feeling rejuvenated, more relaxed, clearer and ready for the week ahead!
